MUC meets ATX

Austin and Munich are known for their dynamic startup communities and strong cultural identities.
‍
Across focus areas such as deep tech, AI, and dual-use technologies, builders in both ecosystems push the boundaries of modern innovation every day. When night falls, both cities come alive with vibrant culinary scenes and a shared love of art and music.
‍
At Munich Haus, we create a brewing ground for exchange and collaboration — bringing together founders, funders, and bold ideas from both sides of the Atlantic.
‍
Built with Munich heart and Austin spirit.

The Munich Haus Manifesto

What we don’t do at Munich Haus:
_{even though we are German hosts
‍
1. Promote German angst and complaints (remember: what you tolerate is what you promote)
2. Give lectures and focus on reasons why something won’t work
3. Talk about what others should do (“man müsste mal”/”somebody should..”)}

What we focus on instead:
_{1. What can we as participants do to actually move things forward
2. What connections can we initiate to kickstart change (our power is in the 2nd degree network)
3. Discussing with the goal of consensus, not wanting to be right}
